Bronwen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Yale University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Woodwork and Furniture Design from Maine College of Art. Together with the women of In Her Presence and dear colleagues Susan Doughty and Amy Harris, Bronwen helped create the original In Her Presence health programming. The women of In Her Presence identified topic areas of interest and the three nurses developed materials and planned sessions to support dialogue on those topics. Each year since, new health care provider volunteers have joined the project, and the topics have evolved to meet the expressed interests of the women of In Her Presence. In addition to her work with In Her Presence, Bronwen provides direct care as a nurse practitioner in Portland, Maine.
