The population we serve has a great many needs. The systems in Maine are sometimes overwhelmed or inaccessible to immigrants due to language differences, lack of transportation or childcare, and many other barriers. 

To help fill some gaps, In Her Presence offers the following direct support service of basic needs items on a limited basis: 

• transporting students to classes 
• transporting participants to medical appointments 
• distributing diapers and wipes 
• food and gift distribution for winter holidays 
• redistributing donated baby clothes and other baby items 
• redistributing maternity clothes to expectant mothers 
• distributing new underwear and socks.

Our participants are always in need of new underwear, socks, nursing bras, diapers and wipes. We also gladly accept gently used maternity clothes. If you would like to donate any of these items, please email contact@inherpresence.org.
